- End Time – Set when the shift ends using the time picker
Click “Add Shift” button to assign the shift to your schedule
Use the week navigation arrows (← Previous Week / Next Week →) to plan schedules for different weeks
Click on any shift in the schedule grid to remove it if changes are needed

3. Review Your Schedule Summary

At the bottom of the scheduler, you’ll find three key statistics:
- Total Staff – Shows the total number of employees in your system
- Shifts This Week – Displays the number of scheduled shifts for the current week
- Total Hours – Calculates the combined working hours for all staff in the selected week
The main schedule grid provides a visual overview of your weekly staffing:
- Staff names are listed vertically on the left
- Days of the week are displayed horizontally across the top
- Each shift shows the time range (e.g., “9:00 AM – 5:00 PM”)
- Color-coded shift blocks make it easy to spot coverage gaps or overlaps

4. Weekly Planning

Use the week navigation to plan multiple weeks in advance
The current week display shows the date range you’re currently viewing
Ensure adequate coverage during peak dining hours and sufficient staffing during slower periods
